President
The President shall preside at all meetings of the club. Meetings shall be conducted using “Roberts Rules of Order.”
He/She shall appoint committees and serve as a member ex officio of all committees except the nominating committee.
The President is responsible for setting meeting agendas.
The President works closely with the Activities Director and the Administrator.
Specific Tasks of the President:
-setting the calendar and communicating the dates to committee members
-works with Secretary to revise the annual Booster Club Handbook
-works with Activity Director & Treasurer in setting the budget
-works with Administrator in identifying needs and wish list items
-oversees all fund raising events
-works with CLPA communicating & coordinating activities, etc.
Secretary
The secretary shall record and compile meeting minutes, submit them for publication on the school web site and provide hard copies to those attending the next scheduled meeting.
The secretary shall review previous year’s handbook with officers and revises the document annually. Each year the secretary shall print and label the handbook which is then distributed at the Co-curricular meeting for parents and students scheduled in August.
The secretary shall be responsible for any other correspondence necessary for the club.
