1. Use a loose-leaf notebook. You will find this more flexible than a
spiral notebook when you need to rearrange papers. Papers are placed in the rings!!
2. Use
dividers to separate your notebook into the following sections:
a.
Notes ( 5 points)
Date
your notes with the days date in the upper right hand corner
Include
the day’s objective(s)
Keep
your notes neatly organized on your paper.
Copy any sample problems
the
way they should be written and will be expected to be written.
b.
Homework (5 points)
Name, page number, and the problems assigned in
the upper right hand corner of the paper
New sheet for each new
assignment. You are
encouraged to use the back of the sheet as well.
Write the problem and the work/steps in a neat
organized way
Arrange the assignments with the most recent on
the top.
c.
Problems, Do Nows, etc. (3 points)
Keep
these organized with the most recent on the top.
d. Vocabulary (5 points)
Complete
the vocabulary sheets by the end of the chapter.
e.
Tests/Quizzes (3 points)
Keep
these organized with the most recent on top
The
overall neatness and organization of you notebook will be worth 4 points.
