Junior High Driving Directions

BEECHER - ZION LUTHERAN - 540 OAK PARK AVE.
Take Highway One south to Indiana Ave. (stoplight). Turn right and travel to Oak Park, turn right - Zion Lutheran is on the left for soccer games.

The basketball and volleyball games are played at Beecher High School. Turn right on Miller Street (right before Reising Chevrolet Dealer). Travel one block west, the high school is on your left.

 

BLUE ISLAND - SALEM
Games are played at First Lutheran Gym (2525 Grove St. in Blue Island). Take I-57 and exit 127th St (also known as Burr Oak). Turn left on 127th and go to Maple Ave. Turn left. Follow Maple Ave. to Vermont St. and make another left. Take a right on Ann St. The gym will be at the corner of Ann & Grove Sts.

 

CHICAGO - ST. ANDREW - 3659 SOUTH HONORE
Go north on Route One to Exchange Street, turn right at the stoplight and take Exchange to 394. Turn left on 394 to 94 west. Take 94 west and it will merge with I57. After the merge, move into the local lanes (not express). Exit on Pershing Road and take a left. (You will be able to see White Sox Stadium). Travel on Pershing for 2 miles and make a right onto Honore. (There is a large brick building on your left when you turn onto Honore). Travel 4 blocks on Honore and St. Andrew's School will be on your right (the church is across the street on your left).

 

CHICAGO - BETHLEHEM (Games are played at Trinity in Hammond, Indiana) – Take Rt. 394 north to Glenwood Dyer Road. Take Glenwood Dyer Road east to Torrence Ave. Turn left on Torrence. Stay on Torrence until Ridge Road. Turn right on Ridge. Take that through Lansing to Hohman Ave.. Turn left on Hohman. Trinity will be on your right approximately 7 blocks down.

 

CHICAGO HEIGHTS - ST. PAUL'S - 330 HIGHLAND DRIVE
Travel north on Highway One/Chicago Road to Lincoln Highway/Route 30. Turn left on Lincoln Highway (St. James Hospital is on the southeast corner of the intersection). Travel west on Lincoln Highway until you come to Ashland Avenue. Turn right and go north about six blocks. You will come to a stop sign. Travel one block and take a left at the church. The entrance to the school parking lot will be on your left behind the church.

 

COUNTRY CLUB HILLS - ST. JOHN - 4231 WEST 183RD
Travel Route One north to Exchange Street, turn left at the stoplight. Go on Exchange Street, through University Park. Go through two stoplights and one stop sign. At the second stop sign, corner of Governor's State University and Urban Hills Golf Course, turn left onto Stunkel Road. While on Stunkel Road you will cross the railroad tracks and go through a busy 4-way stop (Governor's Highway) and the next 4-way stop is Cicero Ave. Turn right (north) on Cicero. Take Cicero to 183rd Street. Turn right at the stoplight. Travel east and St. John's will be on your right.

 

CRETE - DEER CREEK CHRISTIAN- 425 E. Exchange
Travel Route One north Exchange Street, turn left (west) at the stoplight. Proceed west to app. 3 miles to school.

 

CROWN POINT - 250 S. INDIANA
Travel Route One north to Exchange Street, turn right at the stop light. Follow Exchange across 394. At the second stop sign you will see a little shopping plaza (Always Open), continue east. At the next intersection, make a right turn (do not go straight). Travel one mile south to a stop sign. Turn left at the stop sign and travel east. Go across Route 41. Exchange Street is now Indiana 231 and continue east until you enter Crown Point. Go into Crown Point and you will come to a stoplight "T". The courthouse will be directly in front of you. Turn right and bend left staying in the right hand lane. You will be at a stoplight. Continue east on 231 and will pass a Mobile Gas Station on your left. At the next stoplight, turn right. Travel one block south. The church and school will be on your left.

 

DOLTON - ST. PAUL - 233 EAST 138th STREET
Travel Route One North to Exchange Street, turn right at the stoplight and take Exchange to 394. At the 394 Exchange Street stoplight, turn left and travel north. Drive north and exit at Sibley West off ramp. Turn right at the first stoplight. You are now on Michigan City Road. Travel north to 138th Street. Turn left on 138th Street and St. Paul's will be on the left.
Dolton Soccer Field: Go west on Sibley once off the expressway. Continue to travel west until you come to Chicago Road. Turn right and travel north until you come to Franklin School. Turn right at Steward Ave. Franklin School is set back off the road and Dolton Park is behind it. Soccer games are played here.

 

DOLTON Basketball and Volleyball -- LUTHER EAST HIGH SCHOOL
Travel north on Route One to Exchange Street, turn right at the stoplight and take Exchange to 394. At the 394 Exchange Street stoplight, turn left and travel north to Glenwood/Dyer Road. You will exit here and take a right. Travel east to the second stoplight. Take a left onto Torrence Ave. and travel north to Glenwood/Lansing Road. At this 4-way stop, turn right and Luther East will be on your left (across from Mundo's).

 

JOLIET - ST. PETER (a map is available upon request)
Take I-80 west and go over DesPlaines River bridge. Exit Center Street north. Keep right to take Center Street (not Meadow). Stay to the right when Center St. divides at Marion. The street you are on becomes Hickory St. Go through three stoplights on Hickory. The last one is at Western Ave. Continue through the stoplight. Parking lot to the school is on the right.

 

LANSING - ST. JOHN - 18241 WENTWORTH
Travel north on Route One to Exchange Street, turn right and take Exchange to 394. At the 394 Exchange Street stoplight, turn left and travel north to Glenwood/Dyer Road. You will exit here and take a right. Travel east to the second stoplight. Take a left onto Torrence Ave. You will travel north to Ridge Road (Burger King on the northwest corner). Turn right on Ridge Road and go east until you come to Wentworth Ave. Turn left at Wentworth Ave. Go north on Wentworth 2 blocks. The school is on the corner of Wentworth and Randolph.

 

LANSING - TRINITY -GLEN TERRACE AND INDIANA AVE.
Travel north on Route One to Exchange Street, turn right at the stoplight and take Exchange to 394. At the 394 Exchange Street stoplight, turn left and travel north to Glenwood/Dyer Road. You will exit here and take a right. Travel east to the second stoplight. Take a left onto Torrence Ave. Go north to Ridge Road (Burger King on the northwest corner). Turn right on Ridge Road and take the first left onto Glen Terrace - Trinity will be on your left.

 

MATTESON - ZION - 3850 216TH STREET
Go north on Route one to Exchange Street, turn left and travel west to Western Ave - Turn right on Western Ave and travel north to Sauk Trail. Turn left onto Sauk Trail and travel west. Go through a number of stoplights and will go under a viaduct. Make sure you are in the right hand lane. Turn right onto Governor's highway. Go north on Governor's and at the second stoplight, turn right onto 216th Street. Zion will be on your left.
Soccer field directions: For soccer games do not turn right at 216th Street, but continue to travel north on Governor's highway. Go under a viaduct and turn left just before the stoplight (K-mart). Turn left into St. Lawrence O'Toole's soccer field.

 

MORGAN PARK ACDEMY-CHICAGO - 2153 W. 111th St.
Take I-57 north to 111th St. Go left on 111th St. over the expressway then over railroad tracks and past Morgan Park Public High School. Go over a second set of railroad tracks to Longwood. Go left on Longwood. There is a fork in the road and you will take the right fork which will lead you right to Morgan Park Academy on the left hand side.

 

MUNSTER - ST. PAUL - 8601 HARRISON STREET
Travel north on Route One to Exchange Street, turn right at the stoplight and take Exchange to 394. At the 394 Exchange Street stoplight, turn left and travel north to Glenwood/Dyer Road. Exit here and take a right. Travel east to the second stoplight. Take a left onto Torrence Ave. Go north to Ridge Road (Burger king on the northwest corner). Turn right on Ridge Road and travel east through Lansing into Munster. You'll come to a stoplight and turn right on Harrison. Go south three blocks and St. Paul's is on the left.

 

NILES- ST. MATTHEW - 9198 MILWAUKEE AVE.
Travel north on Route One to Exchange Street, turn right at the stoplight and take Exchange to 394. Travel 394 to the I80 I/94 interchange. Exit on I80 West. You will now be traveling east and will want to get onto the 294 tollway. Travel north on 294 to Dempster Street. Exit on Dempster Street and travel east (right). Travel east until you come to exit 21. Go north on Milwaukee Ave. You will see St. Matthew Church and School and an International House of Pancakes on your left. Make a left and go around the IHOP in order to arrive at the entrance of the church and school.

 

OAK LAWN - ST. PAUL - 4660 WEST 94th STREET
Travel Route One north to Exchange Street, turn left at the stoplight. Go west on Exchange Street, through University Park. Go through two stoplights and one stop sign. At the second stop sign, corner of Governor's State University and Urban Hills Golf Course, turn left onto Stunkel Road. While on Stunkel, cross the railroad tracks, go through a busy 4-way stop sign (Governor's highway) and the next 4-way stop sign will be Cicero Ave. Turn right (north) on Cicero. Take Cicero (pass Lincoln Mall) to 94th Street. Turn right on 94th Street and travel one block. St. Paul's is behind the Hilton Inn on your left.
Soccer games are played at Luther South High School. The school is located on the corner of 87th St. & Kedzie Ave. Continue on Cicero to 87th St. Turn right on 87th and Luther South will be on your left.

 

 

PARK FOREST - ST. MARY'S - 227 MONEE RD
Travel Route One north to Exchange Stree, turn left (west)at the stoplight. Continue on exchange through University Park to Monee Rd (Stop Sign). Turn right on Monee Rd. Travel though Forest Preserve to the school.

 

PALOS COMMUNITY PARK
Travel Route One north to Exchange Street, turn left at the stoplight. You will travel west on Exchange Street, through University Park. Go through two stoplights and one stop sign. At the second stop sign, corner of Governor's State University and Urban Hills Golf Course, you will turn left onto Stunkel Road. While on Stunkel, cross the railroad tracks, go through a busy 4-way stop sign (Governor's Highway) and the next 4-way stop sign will be Cicero. Turn right (north) on Cicero. Go to the Sauk Trail stop light and turn left. Go west to Harlem Ave. At Harlem Ave. turn right and travel north about 10 to 15 miles until you come to College Drive. College Drive is right before a big bridge. Make a left onto College Drive and go west to Palos Community Park. The park will be on your left (next to a police station and under the highline towers).

 

TINLEY PARK - TRINITY - 6850 WEST 159TH STREET
Travel Route One north to Exchange Street, turn left at the stoplight. Travel west on Exchange Street, through University Park. Go through two stoplights and one stop sign. At the second stop sign, corner of Governor's State University and Urban Hills Golf Course, turn left onto Stunkel Road. While on Stunkel, cross the railroad tracks, go through a busy 4-way stop sign (Governor's Highway) and the next 4-way stop sign will be Cicero. Turn right (north) on Cicero. Take Cicero to 159th Street. Turn left on 159th Street and cross Oak Park Street. You will see the school. (If you cross Harlem, you've gone too far).
